Hand me downs..what a bummer.

have you ever had someone give you hand me downs?
it doesn't really matter if they're used cause its free.
pretty awesome, right?

anyways, when i was thinking about hand me downs
i thought about how it sorta relates to relationships.

you know when your in school and EVERYONE has a boyfriend but
if you dont, people obviously assume that theres something wrong with you..
or that your missing out on something?
well, if your not in that trend..your not missing out on anything.
your just opening yourself for heartbreak, and giving pieces of yourself away.

some people ask me, "why dont you want a boyfriend?"
and i always respond the same thing.
"why would i want to give away pieces of myself? by the time i actually meet that man that
God has for me..what am i going to give him? leftovers. I dont want to give leftovers, i want to give him me..my whole self."

i usually get one of the two responses:
1."but you have to live life and have fun.
you learn from your mistakes. you analyze things to much
and your never going to find the guy if you keep "saving" yourself."
2." wow, i wish i wouldve done that."

im not even lying.
people have told me those things..

Arent Relationships supposed to be special?
not treated like a hobby to pass the time.
God doesnt want us to be passing the time with someone.
he doesnt want us to give in to the flesh and end up getting hurt.
If your wondering, "well, how am i going to find out who that man is?"
Well, God will let you know.
YOU will know.

dont give away peices.
stay whole.
stay clean and pure.
