Handy-work

moving and unpacking.
the joy of change.
not so exciting if i must say,
pizza and take-out till the whole house gets settled.
nothing is so stable as the kitchen table.

Hearts are alot like a fixer-upper house.
sometimes when God wants to tear down a whole wall of strongholds,
and replace it with a sturdier wall of faith.
we cringe and suggest that a new paint color would make the room look better.
we want to take the easy way out.
covering up the wall doesnt make it disapear.
its still there.
we say that we want to change who we are and become Gods masterpiece
but when times get tough, we kneel and beg for the construction to stop
we cower and find our shelter under a tent.
tents are never stable, a strong wind can bring it tumbling down.
if you want to be a masterpeice, let the painter mold you, paint you, bring you to life.
a vase cant tell the master that he knows not what he does.
a vase is the creation, it knows nothing of its creation.
we came from Gods handywork, not our own.

heart,
Jeanine
